CCVS is avery useful organisation that co-ordinates and acts as a clearing house for those wishing to do voluntary work and organisations that require volunteers. It also provides economic services and office functions for other bodies. If you run a non profit making organisation you really should consider using these services as an alternative to doing these tasks yourself. If they are used right they will probably be done more cheaply and you can devote your time to the charity work. It also operates the shopmobility scheme and community transport services in this area. |
